Grow Some Pumpkins

Another wonderful food we eat from the time we are babies to the time we die is pumpkins.  Pumpkins are very healthy, they taste good and can be made into so many different recipes and the orange color is just beautiful.  It is interesting to note that pumpkins are classified as fruit and not vegetables.

Pumpkins are very rich in Vitamin A and also contain Vitamins B, C and E.  Some of the minerals found in pumpkins are potassium, calcium, copper and phosphorus.  Pumpkin seeds are very nutritious and contain protein and dietary fiber and some minerals, so they make for a very healthy snack.
