I just came across this cool video which shows how to prepare the soil to plant tomatoes in containers. This is the most important step in container gardening. The soil has to have all the nutrients and conditions that the plant needs to grow and produce a bountiful crop.
Also, consideration has to be given to the type of plants you want to grow. All plants do not require the same growing conditions or the same types of soil. You will need to know what type of soil is needed for the types of plants you want to grow.
