When we think about herbs one of the first to come to mind is Parsley. It has many uses and it is especially great as a final touch to decorate and to add that finished look. Unfortunately, many people treat it as just a garnish, and push it to the side of their plate and don’t eat it. Parsley has many health benefits as it contains many vitamins and minerals.
There are two types of parsley, the Italian which has the flat larger leaf and the small curly leaf parsley. Add parsley to soups, stews, and sandwiches. It also goes well in dips and cheese dishes. Many enjoy parsley tea. Use it fresh or dried, by itself or mixed with other herbs. Most kitchens have parsley in some form.
