Two big questions the beginner gardener will be asking at this time of the year is – Do I have to wait for next Summer to start planting, and, what vegetables can I plant in the Fall? The beginner gardener may get despondent and thinking that you started your gardening too late in the year. Summer is over and Fall is here and my gardening has come to an abrupt halt.
Cheer up, do not be despondent, know that you can still garden and enjoy wonderful vegetables from your Fall garden. There are also many other benefits to gardening in the Fall, such as, less watering as the ground is much cooler, fewer insects, diseases and pests. Also, The temperature is much cooler so there is less sweating.
